CPR: New and Renewal Courses
Almost every health care provider must hold certification for basic life support. You must be re-certified every two years.
The American Heart Association’s course covers adult and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), with one- or two-rescuer scenarios. The course also provides instructions on how to properly use a bag mask, automated external defibrillator (AED) for adults, children and infants, as well as how to clear a foreign-body airway obstruction.
