Our Visitor Guidelines
General visiting hours at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth are between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm daily.
Certain BID Plymouth care centers, hospice and outpatient centers may have different hours and visitor policies. Use our Find a Location feature to get more details.
Inpatient Visitor Age
There is no age restriction for visitors, however children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Parents/adults with minor children are responsible for their children’s safety and welfare while visiting this facility.
Children must be without symptoms or recent exposure to COVID-19.
Patient Escorts
If you’re coming to BID Plymouth for an outpatient appointment or procedure, you are allowed two escorts. These escorts are in addition to any essential escorts critical to your care.
Escorts must be free of COVID-19 symptoms or recent exposure.
Emergency Room Visitors
If you come to our Emergency Department for care, we encourage family and friends to stay with you. However, there may be times when they must wait outside the treatment area.
If they must wait separately, you can give us permission to keep your family informed about your care.
Ongoing COVID-19 Visitor Policies
COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations have declined and stabilized in our community. However, preventing the spread of COVID-19 remains a priority at BID Plymouth. It’s our goal to keep our patients and staff safe.
