ATM

A banking automated teller machine (ATM) is located outside the cafeteria on the first floor of the hospital.

Gift Shop

The Jordan Hospital Club Gift Shop at BID Plymouth is located on the first floor of the South Building entrance next to Dunkin’. Visitors may purchase gifts, including flowers, candy, magazines and greeting cards.

Proceeds from our gift shop benefit the Jordan Hospital Club, a fundraising auxiliary. The Jordan Hospital Gift Shop is generally open weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on weekends from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Internet Access

BID Plymouth offers secure, complimentary, wireless internet access in all areas of the hospital campus for patients, visitors and vendors.

From your handheld or laptop device, simply open your internet browser (Safari, Chrome, Explorer or Firefox). In the available networks list, choose BID Guest. You’ll be directed to the BID Plymouth Free Public Wi-Fi terms and conditions acceptance page. Scroll to these conditions, then click Accept at the bottom of the page. You’ll be re-directed to the hospital’s public website and, from there, you can choose to go to other websites.

If you have difficulty connecting to the wireless network, please call the Information Services Support Desk at 508-830-2038.

Lost and Found

All items lost or found should be reported to hospital security through the switchboard by dialing 0. Articles are held for at least 30 days.

Please don’t bring valuables to the hospital. However, if you have them with you, you may ask the nurse to lock them in a hospital safe. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Dining, Snack & Drink Options

Please note that hospitalized patients must have physician approval to eat any food other than what is served in their rooms.

The BID Plymouth cafeteria is on the first floor of the hospital. It is open daily, offering hot meals, sandwiches and salads. The cost of cafeteria food and drinks is discounted for employees and volunteers.

Dunkin’ is on the first floor near the PIDC or South Lobby entrance. Hours of operation vary throughout the week, but they are generally open 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Water, soda and snack vending machines are outside the cafeteria, in the lobby outside the Birthplace and in the emergency department waiting room. A microwave is available outside the cafeteria.

Information Desk

To better serve our patients, families and visitors, BID Plymouth offers a patient and guest services desk in the Urann Lobby and the PIDC/South Lobby.

To better serve our patients, families and visitors, BID Plymouth offers a patient and guest services desk in the Urann and South Lobby.

The desk is staffed by a Patient Ambassador, 7 days a week, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The Patient Ambassador can answer your questions and give directions to patient rooms and other areas of the hospital. In addition, Ambassador Services has details about community education classes and hospital services. Hotel listings, dining guides and other area-specific information also is available.

Access or make changes to your medical records.

Patient Portal

Manage your health care online with the MyBILH Chart. The portal is a free, secure online resource that gives you easy access to your health records.

Telephone & Cellphone Use

Television and local telephone service are provided at no charge to our patients.

You may use your cell phone throughout the hospital. However, to maintain a healing environment, please be aware of those around you and show respect and consideration for others.

Cell phone camera use is prohibited due to patient and employee privacy. Taking pictures and/or video of patients or staff is allowed only with prior approval from the person and our Marketing and Communications Department. Do not post any photographic image or video on any social media site without the express permission from a member of the hospital’s Marketing and Communications Department. Call the main line at 508-746-2000 to be connected to a representative.

Visiting Hours & Policies

Visiting hours are 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm daily.

As COVID-19 cases have declined and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 remain low, we have returned to more conventional guidance for inpatient visitors and patient escorts in the hospital. Learn more about our Visiting Hours & Policies.
