Earns High Rankings in Eight Adult Specialties

Plymouth, MA – Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth (BID Plymouth) has been named by U.S. News & World Report a 2025-2026 Best Hospital. BID Plymouth received 8 high performing ratings in the group’s annual best hospital report and was ranked as a top hospital in the Boston metro region.

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions; only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation.

BID Plymouth was named as the #10 best hospital in the Boston region and was rated as high performing in eight adult procedures and conditions: congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart attack, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, pneumonia and leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
