New Members Will Help Guide BID Plymouth's Mission

Plymouth, MA – Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth (BID Plymouth) announced today that three new members have joined the hospital’s Board of Trustees: Elaine D. Keosaian, RN, MPH; Angela Landerholm, MD; and Steven Leckie, MD.

BID Plymouth's board is made up of dedicated professionals with a wealth of personal and professional experience and a shared commitment to the hospital’s mission to create healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new board members, whose dedication to our community align perfectly with BID Plymouth’s mission,” said Kevin Coughlin, President, BID Plymouth. “Our board members serve as vital partners to the leadership team at BID Plymouth, and I’m pleased Elaine, Angela and Steven will be serving as trustees.”

In addition to the new Trustees, BID Plymouth announced new members of the Board of Advisors, including Paul T. Casale, Jr.; Jill Ceppetelli-Spano; Kim DeLeo; Brendon W. Elliot; Anne Fleming; Sue Giovanetti; Emily Holmes; Julia E. Kehoe; Michelle Koppang; Zahra Mazaheri; Allan Parker; Stephen Peck; Deanne Smith; Deborah Tanis; and Deb Thompson. Lisa Blair has taken on the role of Chair of the Advisory Board.

About BID Plymouth's New Trustees

Elaine D. Keosaian, RN, MPH

Ms. Keosaian is a retired health care CEO and consultant, with 45 years of service, primarily in home care, hospice, and community-based services serving organizations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, central Washington State, and Washington, D.C.

Ms. Keosaian holds a degree from Boston College in Nursing and a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University Medical School. She resides in Plymouth with her husband.

Angela Landerholm, MD

Dr. Landerholm is Chief of Psychiatry at BID Plymouth, leading the psychiatric consult services and Senior Behavioral Health Center. Dr. Landerholm completed fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Psychosocial Oncology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Landerholm resides in Plymouth with her family.

Steven Leckie, MD

Dr. Leckie joined Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates in 2014, became a partner in 2016, and was named President of the practice in 2024. He also serves as President of the BID Plymouth Medical Staff, Vice President of the Massachusetts Orthopedic Association, and Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University.

Dr. Leckie attended Harvard College and earned his medical degree from UMass Medical School. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a fellowship in spine surgery at Emory University. Dr. Leckie lives in Duxbury with his wife and three children.
